Hi Scotty

Hope your ok and well.

I watch all your youtube videos thanks for making them.

But now ive got a problem. 2001 SUZUKI JIMNY

I was driving my 2001 Suzuki jimny and the fan belt broken , i carried on on driving until i got home and pulling over on every mile as the engine was over heating.

Ive replaced the fan belt and the engine still was over heating...

Then i replaced the thermostat and it still was over heating.

So ive just had the cylinder head re skimmed...

Done a oil change and replaced with new spark plugs....

The engine is ok now and stopped over heating but its lost power and the engine is shaking when you first start It Up cold but then stops shaking when warmed up. But still lost power going up hills and at the top end ????

Do you know what the problem is and what ive got to replace????

Hope you can help me my good facebook friend Scotty....

Kind Regards

Mark

overheating can damage a LOT more than just head gasket and head. Have a pro check the wet and dry compression first

When you run OBDII diagnostics, what Codes does it throw? What viscosity oil are you using-- is it the recommended oil for your engine? Do you have electric throttle Body System-- if so, have you re-calibrated it? Also --did you check for a faulty Throttle Position Sensor?
