Hi Scotty, First off, love the videos and appreciate the work you do. Now to the main meat, engine management light... Back story; proud owner of a E86 Z4 (I know you detest BMWs but you can actually reach all cylinders on this one... WOW!) Unfortunately, it drags it's undercarriage over the dragons teeth leaving base. Its standard too. Then hitting a atlantic sized puddle on the motorway (highway, I'm English, hence the constant rain.) The engine sounded really rough and was banging and popping when easing off the accelerator. My initial thought was exhaust dropped off but after a couple of minutes, was okay. A week later, hidden pothole (another puddle) side wall blow out on a tyre, rough noise that again died away. I'm just glad I didnt crack an alloy. However, this brings me here. Engine warning light. Bout an Autophix om126p OBD II reader and I'm getting a P114D error code. Not sure how to use. Any help on how you would proceed would be most appreciated. I don't want to walk into a garage and get ambushed with bull. Stay frosty.
