Hi Scotty, Be blessed for your fine contribution, we all enjoy it! Here is a challenge that I am struggling with a year and a half. My 2017 Honda Pilot Elite came broken out of the box , the dealership did not let me drive it before it was too late! Big mistake! I bought it new and soon noticed The car had some clicking noises when turning the steering wheel. I brought it back and the reel cable was replaced. However the car would not go straight anymore. When I hold the wheel at 12.00 o’clock the car will go in few seconds to the right or to the left depends on how it was aligned before! I have sent it back for days each time ( at least 10 times ) and they never got it fixed!!! A year after the reel cable repair the clicking sounds reoccurred. This time the dealership replaced the reel cable and the part that holds the levers behind the steering wheel. Again they tried to align it And again the car will not go straight! They checked the wheels , ran it on the computerized machine and yet ;no good result!!! WHAT TO DO? Thank you for your help!
Should be still under Warranty. Here's what I'd do. Does your State have a Lemon Law? I'd tell Dealership Manager (not some flunky) to fix it or buy it back, and that I'm tired of dinking around w/ it-- that he/she can talk to me or to the State's Attorney General. Then... when all is said and done at the end of this happy tale... I'd buy a Toyota and begin my new happy migraine-free life. TIP: You must be persistent and let them know you mean bidnezz.
