Hi Scotty, as I was driving my 2007 Toyota Camry SE 3.5L with 105415km down the highway going at 110km/hr, the speedometer needle started to swing back and forth like crazy from 0 to 100km/hr, the ABS light, the brake system light and the traction control lights all went on. I pulled over right away and waited for the engine to cool off. About 20 minutes later, I started the car again and fortunately there was heavy traffic, so the fastest I could go was 60 km/hr. As soon as I got on the highway again, the speedometer did its swinging back and forth again, then the RPM needle wouldn’t register anything and stayed at zero. Also I started to feel extreme heat coming from under the dashboard on my right lap as I was driving. The car could still accelerate and be driven so I took the next exit and called for a tow. Now I can still drive the car, but no response on the speedometer nor RPM indicator and the 3 warning lights above are lit, plus now the check engine light too. Also the air conditioner is not working. Is this purely an electrical issue related to the dashboard? Thanks, NP, a fan in Toronto

sure sounds electrical, could even be as simple as a worn out alternator and or weak battery
