Hey Scotty. You've mentioned in the past to not change the transmission fluid on higher mileage older vehicles that haven't done it in the past, as it can cause transmission issues. Is it safe to change the transmission fluid on a 2007 Toyota Solara with only 50k miles on it? It wasn't driven much, the fluid in it seems to be fairly clean. I'd love to get in the habit and do it every 50k or so if it's safe to do so now. Thanks much!

Scotty's not a SeaFoam fan. In fact, to NOT use it. Change your transmission fluid now. DIY. Make sure you install correct OEM grade fluid. Sometimes Parts. Dept. will tell you wrong fluid, pay attention.

Also, would you recommend on using Sea Foam Trans Tune in the auto transmission to clean it out before changing the fluid? Thanks!
