Toyota uses AISIN transmissions. You can’t beat that!

Between Scotty and me, we own FIVE TOYOTAS. What does that tell you? Here's the Holy Triad: 1/ Toyota 2/ Made-in-Japan 3/ Manual Transmission. Both my Toyotas have that Winner's Trio. P.S. Scotty does NOT own any Hondas. MUST-SEE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnWKz7Cthkk

I would usually say toyota because they tend to be the king in reliability. However Honda does make better engines. But if you are asking to decide which car you should get for reliability go with Toyota. Honda's have more complicated suspensions and other parts compared to Toyota and don't last as long. Toyota will cost less in the long run.
