Hey Scotty, Thanks for all the great info! I enjoy the videos. I have an issue I'm hoping you can help me with. I have a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr 3.0L vs. Last week it started to misfire and had no power on the way home from work. I had P050B, P0304, P0301, P0302, P0300, and the associated P0351, 52 and 54 codes indicating bad coils. When I got it home There was a oil in the 1 and 2 spark plug holes. I replaced the plugs and found the cylinder 1 coil pack was melted. Thinking the oil caused the coil to melt I pulled the manifold and valve covers, replaces the ring seals, gaskets plugs and 1 melted pack. Well the replaced pack in cylinder 1 melted again after a short drive and running for 10 minutes. I'm sure it's something with the cylinder 1 position but not convinced it's the PCM since everything seems ok. Any ideas what's going on here? I also have a check charging system light and check engine. I haven't pulled the codes since the repairs. I think that cylinder is shorting out or sending steady fire signal or something to cause that much heat in 5-10 minutes, Have you seen this before?
