Hey Scotty. Love the videos you put out on YouTube. I own a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES with 148k miles or so. Bought it used in October of 2017 and it's been a work in progress. Well, not to long after I noticed my e brake doesn't work. I nearly got into an accident in the rain when i got cut off by another driver and tried pulling it out of reaction with my foot down on the brake. There was no locking up at all. I tested it at after a few days later at 5mph and upped it to 10 mph and still nothing. I'm just barely showing down. Anytime I park and engage my parking brake I'm only hearing 3 clicks; however, 4/5 is the max. I have to try for 5. Idk know if I should loosen or tighten it. When I pull my parking brake too engage it and release my foot off the brake pedal, I hear a squealing noise from my drums. It holds my car even on a hill and I have very minor movement which is good because I know it's doing its job. I've taken it in twice to have my brakes adjusted and the last time I had them check the e brake cable. They said they adjusted, but they didn't do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! 🙏
