Hey Scotty, I've got a 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport with the 1.6 turbo and a manual transmission. I just took it to the dealer for it's 48,000 mile check and they recommended I changed the spark plugs. They said it would be $315 because they use iridium plugs. In your videos I've seen iridium plugs last for the life of the car. Should I replace them now myself or just let them be. Definitely not paying the dealer to do it. Thanks, Austin.

Changing spark plugs is a easy job, I used to work at a Hyundai dealer and was amazed at the up sell they would do to customers. Ppl would always ask me if I need to do this stuff that they recommend and I’m like no.
