Hey Scotty, I'm the owner of a high mileage (230k) 2005 Dodge Durango SLT 4X4 with the 4.7 liter v8 in it. I've replaced the plugs, MAP sensor, PCV valve (it was split in half and electrical taped together) reconnected the crank breather hoses (they had come loose at some point) and replaced the throttle positioning sensor, which was the first thing that was replaced. I reset the ECM after each repair and ran it through the proper driving reset cycles. Diagnostics are saying the throttle positioning sensor is bad again. My cruise control recently quit working, speedo is slightly off and it's shifting rough which leads me to believe my tranny speed sensors have fouled as well. I'm at my wit's end what do I do? I have to videos of it's running condition but I'm not sure how to upload those. One is of the rpm guage randomly spiking, I have my hand against the steering wheel while recording to give an idea of how rough it's idling. The second is of the motor bay while idling, you can hear the new pcv valve rattling. I did use aftermarket replacement parts, was later told that Mopar is finicky to anything other than Mopar replacement parts, is this true?
