Hey Scotty I'm looking to buy a 2019 Volkswagen Arteon SEL Premium fully loaded brand new this one is built in Germany and has the Toyota 8 speed Aisin transmission and a 2.0 turbo TSI engine should I have anything to worry about?

come on man... all european cars have electronic problems.

get a pre 2018 rav4 with a 6 speed much better made or a 2016 and earlier CRV with naturally aspirated 2.4L

They build them a lot better in Germany, but their diesel engines are much better than gasoline, I have friends who drive Audis (here in Switzerland, Europe) and their 6 cylinder diesels are great, but the 4 cylinder gasoline tend to have problems, but who knows, maybe it will last. Just beware that the repairs on these Volkswagens are uber expensive since they are extremely complicated cars that are fully loaded with complex electronics that start breaking down as the car ages and the mechanic that knows how to work on those is gonna charge you a lot of money for all the equipment
