Hey Scotty, I'm considering buying a used car but don't know much about cars in the first place and I'm pretty young. I wanted to buy an old Ford F-100 or 150 but after thinking I don't have much of a need for a truck just have always wanted one. Thus, I've started considering a chevy k5 blazer. What do you think of the old blazers? How much is too much rust to buy an old car? I've watched the videos on buying used cars but want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off and will have enough money to upgrade the car a little bit. Just trying to be a smart car owner. Hope to hear from you soon
The early 90s blazer are good, the late 80s to mid 90s Jeep xjs are amazing, late 90s to early 2000s Toyota Tacomas are nice just check the frame, some have frame rust problems. 80s Ford trucks are good so are the 80s Dodge Dakotas believe it or not. It just comes down to what you like and what you can afford.
Get a Toyota. You don't want your first car to sour you on driving for a lifetime. Let us know your needs, we can suggest a model. Budget?
@Bob-TheHatKing I was thinking 1973-1980's so pretty old
But the question is how old
An old Ford truck will run forever if taken care of
