Hey, Scotty. I love your videos, I have learned so much from you!

I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier. I have had trouble with the starter not activating occasiionally when I turned the key. I bought a new starter and battery. No luck. I put in a new ignition switch. Still no luck. At first, it was just the startedr not working, but now turning the ignition switch does NOTHING. No warning lights, the gauges don't move. Ignition switch is getting power. I can't figure out why the dash gauges and lights get no power at all.

I've checked ALL of the fuses, under the hood and inside the car. Both fuse boxes are getting power.

Help me, Scotty!!!!!

I would think so, sounds like a major power issue, see if the battery cables are loose where they connect to the car and for corrosion. Then may need to check the main fusebox for any issues.

Wouldn't the dash gauges and warning lights come on if it was the security system?

first check the anti theft system, change the switch and they often need reprogramming
