Hey Scotty,

I have an 02 GMC Denali (AWD), I walked outside yesterday to see a giant pool of what looked like hydraulic fluid. Had that color, smell, and viscosity of it anyways. When it dried, it dried into a rust color. I checked my power steering, and coolant reservoir, transmission and oil dip sticks. All of them were full, or at the appropriate levels.

This leads me to believe its the transfer case? I had it rebuilt about a year ago and ever since then I had this wicked humming noise from my front left tire under acceleration, as well as the steering wheel felt like it was on ice skates.

I don't know if they are related, but is there a way I can find out where the fluid came from, as well as why the humming noise is happening?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, sounds like transfer case, do this video and put it on the case to see if the noise comes from there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqh1oH8mEqY
