Hey scotty I have a manual 2001 vauxhall astra 1.4L petrol engine and I've noticed that when I put the car in reverse it needs a lot of revs to get it to move even though I have the clutch at the correct point. Sometimes it will even stall in reverse and it does smoke a lot (not because of the cold weather as it did it in the summer too) when moving in reverse. My drive is flat so it's not reversing uphill. What do you think it could be? Thanks.
