Hey scotty I have a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3. The last two times I have fueled up when extremely low on fuel the gas pump will click off 4-5 times and then will fuel normally the rest of the way. I held the nozzle out of the filler neck and the gas was coming up the filler neck so I know it wasn’t the gas pump nozzle. Yesterday after I fueled up I drove it and went and topped it up putting $8 in it and it never cut off. I hooked a snap on verus up to it and it had no active or pending codes. I cleaned the filter on the end of the long line coming from the canister vent valve it was really dirty and also blowed air through the line coming from the tank to the canister like you did in your video. I could blow through the canister so I know its not clogged. I am going to let the tank get empty and see if the problem is still there. If it had to do with a bad vent valve or selnoid wouldn’t throw a code? As I was getting in the truck this morning I am pretty sure I heard the canister vent valve clicking from the computer doing it’s evap test so I think it’s working. Just curious why it only clicked off a couple times and then let me fuel up at any speed? What do you think? Do you think it could have been that dirty filter? Thanks for the help
