Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Subaru Outback V6 and I've been getting some problems with the ignition system. I've been getting codes for misfires from cylinders 2, 4, and 6 (P0302, P0304, P0306) and occasional rough starts. I find it hard to believe that all of my ignition coils on one side have failed me simultaneously, as one mechanic suggested. I've already replaced all spark plugs and have been using fuel injector cleaner. My next guess would be a crankshaft or camshaft sensor failure. Any tips on what I can do to troubleshoot before buying expensive parts?

I tried the head gasket tester, no dice! So its not the head gasket. Any other suggestions on what to try next?

on that engine, misfires on one side is a sign of that boxer engine blowing the head gasket on that side. Try my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA7KVQq9vKA&t=1s

more often it's the head gasket starting to blow that causes one side of that boxer engine to misfire. See that ALL the time, try this video to find out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QA7KVQq9vKA&t=1s
