Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Pontiac G6 gt with 83000 miles. Had the trans mounts replaced with new ones and everything is tight. I am having an issue when I shift from park to reverse or park to drive and drive to reverse and reverse to drive. It makes a clunking sound when I do this. I always go into neutral for a few seconds between drive and reverse as well. Trans fluid changed at 63000 miles. New CV joints. New control arms. Everything seems tight. Any idea what it could be?

Utterly sorry you're experiencing this at the young age of 83,000-mi. Difficulty shifting into Reverse can be often first sign of internal transmission problems.

either cv shafts are worn, or internal transmission wear exists. My bets on the tranny
