Hey Scotty I have a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R 3.5 with a automatic transmission and 208,000 miles, the transmission is jerky sometimes and the fluid is burnt smelling and black/brown. Should I just change the fluid or is something causing my transmission fluid to get burnt so changing fluid would be a waste of time? Thank you for all your helpful videos!

tranny is just wearing out, you could try fluid and filter, BUT then it may slip even worse. Your call

Also today I noticed that after I drove it for a while I could smell the burning smell of the transmission fluid, is there a way that it isn’t getting cooled properly?

odds are it's just on its last legs. It already has a tranny cooler built in.
