Hey Scotty I cant believe you are this popular! I began searching for you on the internet. I am so surprised to see what a veteran you are at the social media! You really have been there and done that on all platforms I searched. I am very interested to find out about your carkiller. I would have been a beta customer, had I known you longer.

I posted a few days ago about thinkcar. My concerns have deepend. I found the same company has a second dongle and a second application. Then i found they are getting ready to release about 4 products in total. One Dongle is 39$ and the other is $119. They look like they do almost the same thing! I really want to get this decision right. Can you help me understand if thinkcar thinkdiag, thinktool or thinkplus is the right tool to buy? Believe it or not, i would spend the $800 if the tool can read and write, so i can set values, as well as reset when necessary.

The reason i need a tool for all the unexpected eventualities, is because i purchased a bmw 435i convertible. I know i can hear you smirk! But i do love this car and I am committed to it. Please set me straight with these scan tools! every tool i pick ends up with purchases after the fact. I only want to pay once! I hate hidden charges for features they consider premium. Why cant they just give you all the access you need for your model?

Thank you Scotty and you give me the advice my own father once did. Old age has caused us both to forget some things, and you remind both of us when we forget!

Louis

you get more actual bang for your buck on a bluedriver. Past that, its a BMW and you are into multi thousand dollar scan tools like this if you want serious capabilities: MaxiSys MS908S
