Hey Scotty, I bought a used car from a dealership here in San Leandro, CA, and they told me the car is great, etc etc, but after the sale and i drove off, few hours later a check engine light came on. They offered to fix it, as it was a knock sensor issue, but i dont trust their mechanics to touch a single bolt on my car, can i have my mechanic fix it and send them the bill? Their mechanics have bad reviews, including just erasing the light. Thanks!
Alright, sounds good to me, thanks Scotty!
I would do that, california has some pretty strong consumer rights laws and I bet it would cover that under lemon laws and deceptive practises.
