Hey Scotty,

Huge fan of yours. Your videos have saved me a bunch of money over the years in repair costs. I am currently looking to upgrade my car. I've been driving my beloved Corolla for the past five years with no major issues. Only problem is the car is not a looker to say the least. It's rear was basically destroyed before I got my hands on it. Got it dirt cheap that way. Fixing it is such a huge task I gave up after like the 5th attempt. I'm married now and my wife just hates to be seen in that vehicle. I was trying to find a good price on another Toyota but man, people are well aware of the value of those things these days.

I stumbled across a Honda Accord 2000 4cyl for only 2,500 with 40k miles on it. The down side is that it's an automatic and as you have always said those transmissions on Honda's are pretty weak, but it has only 40k on it? Do you think I'd be able to get a 100k more miles on it before the transmission craps out?

Thanks a bunch

That's like asking me to embrace canned tomatoes after feasting on fresh-picked fat juicy Cherokee Purples from the farmers market. I honestly think you'd suffer from Seller's Regret. Keep the Toyota. Join a free online Corolla owners forum, read how they mod-up their rides, DIY repair, clear-coat, paint, dress 'em up. No one's going to pry my 1998 RAV4 out of my hands.
