@TheReaper @guyonearth @Believe231 Thanks alot fellas! Advise taken, she sounds strong and brakes surprisingly firm and smooth the oil change was like a coffee bean brown. As for the radiator I'll try that for now until I cover more important components. The hoses definitely need replacing. Belt was fairly new. I'm learning more and more every day thanks to Scotty and fellas like you. Greatly appreciate!

I have no idea what you paid for this van , hopefully nothing . Now before you start sticking your life savings in it , check it out thoroughly . On the radiator try some treatment first . no sense in a new radiator if it's got other bigger problems . Until you know every thing about that van , don't stick a dime in it other than fluids , filters a new hose or belt . Drive it around on city streets at low speeds and let it tell you what's wrong and what it will take to make it road worthy . Remember what momma told you about a fool and his money . TheReaper!

Your primary problem with this vehicle with this many miles on it is probably going to be the suspension. The tie rods, pitman and idler arms, and ball joints are probably all shot at this point. The brakes should be gone over as well. This is a heavy, clumsy vehicle at the best of times, don't cut corners on the suspension or brakes, and watch the condition of the tires.

Also go over all the rest of it, try to find someone (or a shop) that would be wiling to do free safety inspection of it. Mainly don't want any surprises, like leaking fuel or brake lines that can cause a fire or be unable to stop the vehicle.
