Hey Scotty! Appreciate all your content on Youtube. You're incredibly informative, knowledgeable and entertaining to watch. Since you take questions from time to time, I figured I'd throw one at ya, since it's got me stumped and see if you'd be willing to answer it. I've got an 02 Civic that I bought used with 136K on it. It now has 143K on it and since I bought it, I noticed the dash lights and headlights dim while driving with a lightly depressed throttle or when I push in the clutch to change gear. Once it gets higher in the rev range or I let off the throttle, the lights brighten again. Real weird as it's pretty much the complete opposite of what a failing alternator would do. I just replaced the alternator due to it failing and the car is still having the same symptoms. With all your expertise, what do you think could be the issue? The new alternator is working fine with charging the battery and the multimeter test proves the battery is charging correctly, as well. Lastly, the battery was manufactured in 8/16, so it's not all that old either. I'm stumped, especially since changing the alternator hasn't remedied the issue. Do you think it's some kind of bad ground somewhere or some other odd electrical issue? Thanks, I'm at a loss!
I'd check the wiring and ground connections first.
