Hey Scotty and the community. I got a potential buy on a 2009 Kia Rio with 160k miles and a manual transmission for 2700 dollars. It has no codes on it when I checked it with a scan tool and no rust visable and the frames good. Should I buy it or wait and get a 4500 dollar toyota corolla? I want to know which would be more worth while. The corolla would be manual transmission if I did wait

How much would you guys say I should pay for a Corolla S with no rust and a manual transmission? they want 5900 for it but how much you think I should ask for it? Seems like everyone is selling these cars at 4500 and more a lot.

Brother man a Kia Rio that's 10 years old with 160k miles is never gonna be worth $2700. Even if it's as clean as a whistle. I bought 96 Olds Aurora with 112k miles (super clean no rust) for $2k as a toy. Also bought a first gen neon with 140k miles 5spd for $500 as a work car. I'd go with a Toyota over a Kia any day, anyways.

I keep seeing them for 3000 minimum though for the manuals. How much is a corolla worth with a manual?

That's a terrible deal for that Rio, it's probably not even worth $1000 never mind $2700
