Hey Scotty and friends. I've got a 2001 Honda Civic w/189k miles on it. When starting the car cold, the engine starts to making a clicking/ticking noise that goes away once warmed up. The ticking increases upon acceleration until the engine is warm. Is that something to worry about? Been driving it that way for 6 months. Was thinking that maybe the valves need adjustment or would that probably just be from overall wear/possible carbon buildup in the engine from being almost 20 years old? Thanks!
May be wear, don't race motor when cold. Have oil pressure checked with mechanical gauge.
