Hey Scotty and community, I have an Infiniti fx35. It’s got around 160k miles. It was running fine until this time of the year when we started driving it, it would not accelerate that well anymore. The rpms would rise in while in first gear and the car would barely accelerate. I’m not sure what the problem is. I hope not a transmission failure. Could it be the low hydraulic fluid? The engine sounds fine as usual, just no acceleration when I step on the pedal. I would have to floor it in order to pick up speed. Help please!

if fluid is full, tranny is going out. Pray it's just low

OBDII scan it. Why guess when you can avail of that essential diagnostic?

Low fluid? Trans going out if not low or no fluid
