Is it normal for a car to kick a little when the transmission is shifting in a automatic especially when accelerating? If not what’s the problem?? Plz and thank you

There is a possibility that your transmission fluid is low or needs to be changed. To check the Transmission fluid start the car and let idle then pull the transmission fluid dipstick out wipe it with a clean rag or paper towel then reinserted the dipstick and then pull it out and read what it says. It’s also possible since it is an old vehicle that the transmission is just wearing out. Hope this helps

Thanks for the help ! The thing is for some reason Toyota didn’t put a transmission dip stick in a 2010 Toyota Camry lol so that is going to be tricky to check the transmission fluid

Then it’s probably a sealed transmission. Those are harder to check and fill but still possible to do.

If it’s a hard jerk could be a slipping transmission but that would turn on the check engine light if it slipping
