Hey Mr. Kilmer, regarding VTEC and VTC in a Honda K-series engine, during low rpm, maximum advance, and valve overlap, why does some of the burned exhaust gas going up the intake valve and creating more pressure in the intake manifold help with pumping loss/performance? Can you explain that a little further? Does the EGR go up both intake valves or just one & then reopens again for the next intake charge? Does this EGR heat up the manifold (cause if I drive my Si in VTEC hard it actually feels cooler afterwards)? thank you!!
