Hey. I was just wondering if you Scotty or anyone else on here knows what could be wrong with my Volvo XC70 2001. The problem is that it stays on a low rpm unless I hit the gas, it also misfires/stalling when its on low rpm and in reverse. The spark plugs are changed as well as the coils, the vacuum lines look fine too ? Can it be the fuel filter ? The mass airflow sensor is also changed. Milage is 297k

Thanks for all the answers! I found a code on it today where it stands it misfires on cyl 2 so ill check the fuel delivery to cyl 2 I will also be buying a new coil pack for cyl 2 to see if that fixes it. Ill be sure to check out everything that has been commented here also just to make sure.

It is a Volvo you can't possibly expect it to work right. Hahaha I'm just kidding. I believe you have a solenoid issue/ maybe oxygen sensor.

Lot of miles, could be number of things. No codes? Check that first. Look for cracked vacuum lines. Check fuel delivery system.
