Hey got a quick spark plug question I got a good old 1994 Ford F 150 with a 4.9 L inline 6 it has 400,000 miles on it I just did a tune-up on it the wires was shot but the spark plugs were in rather good shape but they look kind of funny one side was dark brown and the other side was scorched White what could that mean

It could have an issue with the fuel injectors or the fuel pressure. Test the pressure, and if ok, then look into a fuel injection pressure cleaning service. Also be sure the fuel pressure regulator is not leaking fuel into the vacuum line,if it is, then it's ruptured and needs replacing.

The main reason why I did the tune-up is because it was skipping and jumping while I was accelerating it became quite annoying so had to take care of it
