Dilemma

Hi Scotty. I am a huge fan of your youtube videos. They have been a great help!

I recently purchased a 2006 Lexus GS 430 (8 cyclinders with 260,000 miles no codes rear wheel drive) and I live in Connecticut. I know you're not a huge fan of plastic underbody covers lol, but I'm hoping this will help with the salt they put on roads in the winter.

I'm trying to get the car up to 1,000,000 miles and I'm hoping you had a list of recommended maintenance/actions to take to reach that goal. I will change the engine oil every 3000 miles. I also will be taking the car to a shop so they can inspect the transmission fluid to see if they recommend changing it regularly since I don't know the latest history of the car. I figure if it has been changed regularly then I'll change the transmission fluid every 60,000 miles. I also will be changing air filters, maybe the differential fluid, and I will check the throttle body to see if I should clean it. Most of these are recommendations I got from your videos. I checked the manual, but that list seems short lol. Any list you can provide would be VERY appreciated. And I am a very detailed person so if it is a long list that's fine too. Thanks so much!
