Hello Scotty, with regards to your comment in your video, "Why not to buy a Mercedes Benz", you said that most Mercs in the US are Mexican made. What do you think of the German made Mercs?

A German friend of mine told me that if I want a Mercedes, then buy a German made because it has a good quality.

Numerous mentions in SK's YouTUBE videos about German made Mercedes. One frequent comment: they are "over-engineered." And expensive on parts/labor to maintain. Here's a typical excerpt from 11JAN2018: "Q.: Do Germans make lower quality cars to RIP US OFF because of WW2? Some kind of revenge? A.: SK: OK. Who knows! It’s funny. I talk to a lot of people in Europe. Most German cars in Europe are MADE over in Europe. They’re >> quality than the ones they’re selling over here. Used to be-- they were all made in Germany. When I was a kid, Dr. Kirby came to my father’s Texaco station. Being a doctor, he had money. He bought one of the 1st Mercedes in town in the 1960s. It was a SOLID CAR, all made in Germany. Now they’re made all over the place. The ones in Europe work better and the ones sold here aren’t as good." SK often describes Mercedes cars as "Endless Money Pits, especially as they age." I've been told before, "If you can't afford the maintenance on a Mercedes, don't buy one."
