Hello Scotty. What are you doing?
I have some questions for you.
I own a 2002 Ford KA 1.3i 44 kW. Three or four months ago i noticed that the fuel consumption increased from 7/8 to ~10/10.5. What should i check ? I need to mention that i have no ideea when the spark plugs were replaced last time. The engine is a little bit lazy, the acceleration is not the same like it was 6 months ago(but the consumption was almost the same). Another mention is that the spark plugs were unscrewed by a mechanic using some WD-40 and a lot of force because they were and still are rusty. Recently i cleaned the throttle, idle air control valve, the air sensor and i checked the idle motor control and everything was good.
Another question.
This car has ~75000km. It sits almost 8 years, except for some times when my father wanted to drive it in the neighborhood. I want to use some fuel aditives to clean all the intake route from the fuel tank to the cilinder, the injectors, i want to remove all the carbon from the cylinders, pistons, velves etc. and some aditives for oil to reduce the Crankshaft friction and also to clean all the impurities.
What is your opinion about fuel and oil aditives? Should i use them ? ( a little mention . the car is equipped with lambda sensors)
Another question.
It's a good ideea to check the rockers adjustment?
I read on internet about a decarbonising process using high purity hydrogen. They says that after this process, the fuel consumption decreases, and all the carbon from the pistons, valves and other parts disappear, the engine regains it's power and reduces emissions of pollutants. What do you think about this ..? It's a good ideea to call this guys ?
Thank you Scotty !!! Best of luck !!
