Hello Scotty,
We own a 2001 Honda CRV. ±400 000 miles. Not sure if we’ve got an automatic transmission problem here… when cruising at low speeds (±1500 rpm – 1750 rpm) there is a lot of vibration/ shuddering and we do notice we need to step on the gas pedal to help the transmission engage so to stop the vibration. This happens when going form 1st to 2nd and/or from 2nd to 1st. Disengaging the overdrive usually solves the problem. The CRV is also sluggish and really, really struggles going uphill! Help Scotty! Are we looking into a possible major transmission repair?
Thank you for sharing your wealth of experience with everyone! We love your awesome and outgoing personality. Greetings from Canada!

Scotty! We're thinking of changing the AT fluid to see if it helps a bit with our delicate issue here. Now, if we sell our cr-v, we'll get close to $0 as I will tell the potential buyer of our "dilemma". If we use it as is...we may not get far soon! we are confused as heck! The question is: what would Scotty do?????? Thanks Scotty!!!!!

Yikes! really love our cr-v. I wonder how we could manage to keep it without breaking our piggy bank. Thank you Scotty for your kind and prompt response! come back to Canada anytime! God bless you. Keep up the good work!

tranny is flatt wearing out. Not worth fixing considering the 3 grand upwards price of rebuilding it. canada rules, I learned to play hockey in toronto myself.
