Hello Scotty.

My name is Chris from Winchester VA.

First I have to say how much I like your videos and even someone like myself that worked in a auto repair shop for years can find great things about them.

I see sometimes you do a Q&A session on your videos so I have a question for you.

I drive a 98 Pontiac Grand Am with the V6 and about 200k miles on it, I bought this car 14 years ago used and it's still my daily driver.

For the last 10 years most of my family, friends and coworkers have told me I really need to junk it and buy a brand new Nissan, Jeep, Volkswagen or even a luxury car like a BMW, replace it every 5 years and the warranty will cover all the repairs and I'll save so much more money than driving my old Pontiac, It cost me about $300 a year in parts to keep my car going. So my question is how would these new cars save me money like everyone is telling me vs me fixing my old car at $300 a year?

My insurance cost almost nothing, property taxes are nothing.
