Hello Scotty! My 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 4.0L minivan has multiple electrical systems acting…
My 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 4.0L minivan has multiple electrical systems acting strangely. First, my Autostick gear selector has not worked for about the last year - it behaved intermittently prior to totally ignoring my attempts to use it. (On occasion, I would select 6th gear on a road trip just to prevent the ECO fuel economy cylinder management system activating.) Its no longer working - ever. The display stays in "D" instead of displaying a selected gear "1"-"6".
Secondly, the Cruise Control often does not power-on (evidenced by the Cruise light not lighting upon button press) - and, in the rare event that it does work, it will occasionally fully dis-engage (Cruise light goes out) after pulling the control to coast.
Thirdly, my Passenger Side Window Switch also exhibits some strange behaviors - sometimes it works fine, other times not at all. On a rare instance it will cause the window to close instead of open (opposite of switch motion.) It always seems to behave when commanded from the driver's door console.
I have never had any work on any of these systems and I am the original owner.
So - is it possible that all these problems are related to some common cause? They did not all appear exactly at the same time, and I am wondering your advise on how to approach this set of problems.
Thanks in advance for your time and effort! -ScottE
