Hello Scotty! Love your videos... such a tremendous help for my husband and myself as we learn. Currently we have a problem with our honda civic dx. Cleaned the throttle body and now it's idling high. Drives fine, and rpms are normal when shifting or when the AC is on. Just increase when at idle or in neutral. What could it be?
TPS? Again, we have a 92 Honda Civic DX manual transmission... any input would be appreciated, thank you.
Hi Scotty! We've been driving it and are still having trouble with high idle...now? when we apply the clutch, the revolutions are even higher. When it's actually driving it sounds just fine and shifts just fine. Revolutions are high when it's idling and when we push the clutch in to change gear, the revolutions increase considerably... we've checked the hoses for vacuum leaks and can't find anything out of place or anything that would cause this. Please help?!?! Could it be FPS?

drive it a few days, often the computer will reset idle speed on its own if the only thing he did was clean.. BUT do check to see if he created a vacuum leak doing that cleaning, loose clamps, knocked off vacuum lines do that
