Hello Scotty! long time YouTube viewer. Who has a question for you recently I topped off the radiator in my 2012 45th anniversary edition camaro, the coolant in the reserve tank was empty and the top of the radiator was also pretty dry I can see the copper fins and a coating of coolant so I refilled it and i think I hopefully did the bleeding correctly to get the air bubbles out well shortly, after that I also went ahead and cleaned the throttle body out it was black and disgusting and now nice And shiny, after that I have been doing the relearning process but now comes my major concern shortly after all that I noticed my cabin started to smell like maple syrup real sweet and I thought ehh whatever next thing I know when I turned the heater on it just shot out white smoke like a fine white smoke and I knew that there was a problem so I ask, what could have caused it since then I have tried bleeding the system again and got some air bubbles out but after that it still sends out white smoke but there is no check engine light and there hasn’t been any leaks till now and they are behind the firewall when I have the AC on it doesn’t fire out white smoke it acts normally but as soon as i move the temperature to the hot side boom fine white smoke

That may explain why there’s coolant leaking behind the firewall I know the heater Core is there in the passenger side but should it also leak on the driver side?

Sweet smell is antifreeze, you might have a heater core leak
