Hello Scotty Karma I appreciate your expertise. I wanted to ask you about my situation. I had an engine swap on my 2006 Chevy Silverado. 5.3 vin letter z 1500 longbed standard cab. and after that I started having a lot of issues with my ECM and or wiring. The first thing I noticed what's when I will put my vehicle in Reverse it shift indicator What would shift left to right but it will stay in that gear. Something else I noticed was when on the highway the RPM and the speedometer would act weird. Also my check engine light does not work but it still has some coats on the computer in regards to bad O2 sensor bank one and also knock sensor And also I wanted to mention that when they did my engine swap they use the harness that was on the new engine not the original one. My vehicle starts on the second try and it runs but it stalls on the highway when it does that issue the RPM . Oath of the ABS and the brake light and light are on intermittently. I have been thinking about buying a new ECM but I'm not sure if I just need to relearn it reflash or really purchase a new ECM.

What was factory engine? What is the new engine? Is new engine new, remanufactured, rebuilt? If rebuilt, who did the rebuild? Mileage on vehicle?
