Hello Scotty , I 'm Sayeed the owner of a 2001 Honda Civic Ferio ES1 from Japan. It's RHD. I live in Guyana South America I'm having two problems 1. my car cranks more to start in the morning or when park during the day at work aslong it sits a few hrs it cranks more to start stumbles a few second like it will cut off but don't then kicks in normal. 2 A rough idle kinda low with loss of acceleration power after driving a while , if my ac is on it feels kinda better not rough, aslong ac off just not smooth. It's not throwing no code, no CEL. i went ahead changed alot as preventative maintainance. o2 sensors, camshaft and crankshaft sensor. seals too, all brand new engine mounts. IAT sensor. Cleaned throttle body. Tune up done Air filter new spark plugs. Brand new OEM Fuel pump module. I use AMSoil fuel additive usually to help with the injectors. I even check for vaccum leaks nothing. So i tested my battery and alternator it all within the range. I'm wondering if my ignition coil pack is breaking down under load just did a basic test for resistence three had identical reading one was off a bit. All are OEM honda parts. My mechanic cleaned the fuel rails so far there has been slight improvement but not solving the issues. Any help would be grateful for. In Guyana owning a Honda is tough no kinda of support from the company in terms of the Honda Civic Line i survive via online and most US model civic parts works on mine. Mechanics locally the knowledge is limit in some areas so that's where i'm stuck now. Sharing of your knowledge on Youtube is awesome. Thank You.
Hello Mr. Kilmer, my problems are over thanks to your advice, got my throttle body stripped down and cleaned, IACV was clogged up not spinning. Car feels like new :) well not really but idle darn good again for 17 yrs old. Thank you.

Thanks Mr. Kilmer. I got to clean out the throttle body. I had changed my IAT sensor or MAF sensor with oem honda part. I would say it help a bit but not like 10000km before how the car ran. It gets the low idle and it is felt like if i stop at the traffic lights. I notice this idle is the same if you drop the car in nuetral. I noticed today while accelerating i getting a whistle sound now like turbo. I tried holding my rpm aro. 2000 while pressing the pedal the sound is heard whistle and air coming out kinda getting extremely hot im wondering if my catalytic converter is going. I will update you when i carry out the tips of checking. Thank you.
