Hello Scotty! I’m having some issues with my newly bought Saab 9-5 Aero 2002 2.3t(250hp) Wagon (paid 800dollars). The car has almost 150,000 miles on it and the turbo was changed 18,000 miles ago. When driving carefully it works just fine but when you try to accelerate quickly it loses turbo boost and starts jerking without accelerating (especially if you lug the engine), we just did a service changing the oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, direct injection cassette and almost all vacuum hoses on it. When my dad scanned it with his(good) obd2 scanner the code p1300 came up, when looking at a Saab error code guide it said boost calibration fault(in pending codes, so no check engine light came on) and then we let a mechanic have a look at it and he got the code p1181 Fuel Delivery System Malfunction – High. The mechanic therefore said he thought it might be the fuel pump.

Car runs rough on idle sometimes too by the way.

Do you think he could be right and do you know of anything else that may be broken or worn? (I live in Sweden so there are a lot of parts available

Thank you so much for your time!
