Hello Scotty,

I drive a 2013 ford focus SE hatchback. Car was working fine and then I went on vacation and came back to find that there was no coolant whatsoever in my vehicle and there is also white foam sitting on top of the motor. Car was locked during my entire trip and I have the only key so I know nobody tampered with it. I even have a plastic sheild underneath so its difficult to access anything underneath the car as well. I dont know what to do and I dont want to have it towed to the dealership. Please help, thank you!!!

Next step: conduct UV Dye Test to pinpoint coolant leak source(s).

Sorry you had to come back from vacation to face this. Need some add'l info. Before vacation, was Focus driving OK-- no trouble Codes, CEL?
After vacation: Did you start the car-- or attempt to start it? Was there wet coolant puddle under car, or signs of dried up coolant (white powder, e.g.) under car? Without further info, this is going in direction of blown head gasket, but some pieces of puzzle are missing before we jump to drastic conclusions. If you didn't (try to) start engine, wondering "how" foam got there. Are you 100% sure no one drove it during your absence? Did anyone have access to your keys?
