Hello Scotty and The Community. My parent's cars are assembled in Mexico, but are they still reliable? 2011 Honda CR-V LX 2.4L N.A. made in Japan, 5-Spd Auto made in USA, 46,000 mi. Has no major issues. A door lock squeak in Pass Rear door, doors still work. Does an automatic usually yank the car to stop and go forward? From P to R there is a release like releasing pressure to begin reversing. R to N is no problem. but my dad likes to move N to D just before the car has stopped reversing. Will that inflict damage to the automatic transmission? 2018 Honda HR-V LX 1.8L N.A. made in Japan, CVT made in Indonesia, 9,500 mi. Has gone through 3 oil changes. I have no idea what is going on. There "is" a squeak in the FR struts? When turning right, braking, and turning up an incline like into a parking plaza. It has stopped squeaking sometime about 3 months ago. There are panels that pop out just a tiny bit that can be fitted back in place but will pop back out once you let go, the cover on the side of the dash and the A-Pillar cover near the windshield, both on the passenger side. Will the panels cause a weakness in the restraints system? Sorry for the long descriptions.
