Hello Scotty and community, I am driving honda civic 2004 coupe, it has 134000 miles. Right now I am thinking to change automatic transmission fluid and timing belt. Is it safe to buy these things from Amazon.com or from Walmart? I found the pretty decent deal online and on the picture I can see that it is genuine Honda parts or fluids. Here is a link for transmission fluid:

Honda FBA_08200-9008 08200-9008 Automatic Transmission Fluid, 4 Pack, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ATG3RCC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_XSYvDbMQ5F5CT

I am looking also to buy a timing belt as well, is it safe to buy it from Amazon? what should I look for to be on the safe side and get quality parts or liquids?

I go OEM on those parts. OEM all the way. Confucius say, "Buy cheap, pay twice." Don't buy from Dealer. Find OEM Honda on Amazon or one of the online wholesale-prices Honda Dealerships.

Sorry Scotty, maybe I should be more specific, where I can buy OEM timing belt except from honda dealer because they would charge me a lot for any part

thank you for your quick answer, I would like to clarify it..

I was asking about transmission fluid for honda (maybe you are calling this fluid OIL), because honda is very sensitive to anything else except original.

is it possible to buy OEM parts on Amazon or even if it described as OEM it still not real honda?
