Hello, Scott . I been watching your videos, they are great. However I have a 06 Honda pilot. The air condition just stopped working. I checked the relays and they are good. I checked the clutch on the compressor to see if it turns, it does. What would be my next step to check. I put a gauge on the low side and and it went straight to red . The air is coming out hot, the compressor doesn't seem to kick in/on. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Scotty, the clutch doesn't engage. Can I change out the clutch field coil only and do I also have to drain the system ? Where would I find the parts ?

That may be the static pressure in the a/c system-that is, the pressure when the a/c compressor is not running. Are you sure the air conditioner compressor clutch is engaging? Should hear a click when it kicks on as then see the rest of the clutch assembly turning. If not, then it may have a failed clutch field coil, which I've seen on many, many Hondas of those years. If it does engage and you hear a click, then it's possible the compressor's internals have completely failed.

Hello Scotty, I'm back, the gauge reads 100 psi, with the engine off and with the air on.
