I dont think I'll get rid of it because I really like this car but who knows. Hoped it could be easier to fix. I'm going to see a merc pro like you said and we'll see how it goes then.

my advice, get rid of it fast. Tranny needs rebuilding and that cost's a king's ransom on that 500. They are endless money pits at that age. But if you want it fixed, ONLY use a Merc pro mechanic cause those babies are complex and few know how to properly rebuild them
