Hello I have a question. I have a GMC SIERRA 1993 Chevy 5.7 engine with new transmission and rebuilt engine. The truck was starting perfectly fine when I bought it and passed smog. The reason I need to ask this question is because I am a bit skeptic about a job the I had paid for wasn’t done properly. My truck didn’t have a stereo and I wanted it to have one so I took it to an electrician to get the stereo installed professionally but he started doing other few things that weren’t part of the agreement but he made some lights work and get the brake light to work as well as lights from inside and a few other things like the AC but he called me and asked if I had trouble starting it before because it wouldn’t start when he wanted it to be moved from where it was but when he cranked it it only kept cranking I got a mechanic there and my mechanic checked two possible problems/project which was pressure and also spark plugs but everything seemed fine so now we are both skeptical that it was something electrical. So can you give me some tips please? Thank you I would kindly and greatly appreciate any of your advice an tips.

Yes great thanks. I spoke to him and he said he was going to retrace all his work back but he would make sure it wasn’t his work that is making my truck fail in starting. My mechanic is very nice so he did check it for free but he did say it couldn’t be a mechanical problem being that it was in tip top before I dropped it off. Honestly though it was working real well. Before I took it there. So hopefully he fixes the problem if not I will have to peruse further action. Thanks for the tip. Have a nice day.

Tell the electrician to "un-do" his work that caused it to not start-- IF it honestly was starting trouble-free when you took it there-- or if he's unable, tell him he's got to pay your mechanic's invoice to get it restored. Either way, he must make you whole. Doubt he wants to wind up in Small Claims over this.
