Hoods don't smoke unless noise baffling insulation is on fire. Open hood. Look in engine bay. You must pinpoint source of smoke. Use your sense of sight and smell too. Does it smell like burning oil, coolant, transmission fluid? On no-wind day, smoke rises straight up. Might have to crawl underneath. Be a good forensic detective. Let us know what you find.

First try and locate leak, but it may be valve cover gasket, u can snug them up, usually 10mm socket, don't overdue it. Check google for torque settings. If not look at oil dripping none something hot.
