Hi scotty, just want to ask if inexpensive obd scan tools can harm your computer, i tried to plug one of these and the next day my other head light is not working, the next day im hearing noise when i trun the steering wheel.I think its just a coincedence. What do you think? Thanks for helping. You are very cool!!!!
Dude, this happened to me to but only for the left headlight. I kept wondering what is was, I changed the light on the headlight and it still wasn't working and when I turn on my headlights the turn signals dont work. They only work when the headlights are off
I got one from Amazon for 12$ it works for me so far
i have the same obd2 home. its crap and the software have virus in it. buy one from a big part store that matches your car. they are cheap too
I've had good results w/ my BlueDRIVER OBDII Scan Tool, $9900 Amazon & excellent tech support. Beyond excellent. They actually answer their phone.
ive used the small transparent blue unit on a half dozen cars, none have had any issues
yes, they can , I've seen it happen with the really low priced chinese made ones
